Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the design team to develop creative and functional interior design solutions for residential or commercial projects.
  • Conduct space planning and develop detailed drawings (floor plans, elevations, sections) using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp etc.).
  • Assist in the selection of finishes, materials, furniture, and equipment, considering aesthetics, functionality, and budget.
  • Create compelling presentations and documentation to effectively communicate design ideas to clients and collaborators.
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project designs meet technical feasibility and building codes.
  • Participate in site visits and provide recommendations for construction details and finishes.
  • Manage assigned projects effectively, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality control.
     

Other requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a professional interior design or architectural firm.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and building codes.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp etc.).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and a creative spirit.
